I highly recommend SWAT Magazine for your reading. I have been a subscriber for 2 years now and it has a lot of good info for the police and the civilian. Pick up an issue and see what you think.

Backwoodsman Magazine- good articles for if things get real medieval
Mother Earth News- if you can get past all the tree hugger propaganda it has some good info
US Army Sniper TM(don't have the TM # handy)-good source for general field craft

+1. The early issues were the best, IMO. As far as "tree hugger propaganda", just like the firearms magazines, I peruse articles with the bullshit filter "on"...

If this is in reference to Rawles' "Patriots: Surviving the Coming Collapse" then I can totally say +1. Definitely one of the best thought out books on the SHTF scenario. A must-read for any survival oriented person or group...;) :cool:

Ray Mears has an interesting survival series out there. Released on BBC, it MIGHT be available for purchase. More than likely you will have to be a pirate and d/l it somewhere.
