I'm asked frequently what I do to make my days interesting now that I'm retired. Yesterday, I went downtown to the hardware store. I was only there about five minutes, but when I came out, there was a police officer writing a parking ticket.
"Gee officer" I said "can't you give a retired guy on a fixed income a break?" He ignored me and continued to write the ticket. "Nazi bastard" I called him.
He glared at me and started writing another ticket for worn tires, so I called him a "facist pig". He placed the second ticket next to the first.
Then he started writing a third ticket. This went on for about twenty minutes. The more I abused him the more tickets he wrote.
Personally, I didn't care. I had walked downtown, and the car that he was putting all the tickets on had a "Hillary in '08" bumper sticker. I try to have a little fun every day now that I'm retired. It's important for my health...
