I ran across this at Cheaper Than Dirt:

This splint looks like a really nice way to immobilize a fractured arm or a tib-fib fracture, small, light, and reuseable. You don't have to rely on rags, sticks, old Life magazines, or other "make-do" supplies. Just mold this to fit and secure it with an Ace bandage.
It's not much good for a fractured femur, but little other than a traction splint (and a large hospital orthpaedic ward) is.
