A friend at my workplace bought a few of these shelf units. After looking at them I'm quite impressed. They're very well built and automatically rotate your new stock - old cans are brought out first.

Back in the days, my parents had a system similar set up in a closet.

Only back then my Father built his out of wood at a fraction of the cost of those pre-fab shelves.

I've got 2 sets of the 6' tall ones and love them.
These have some advantages over most homemade units; the biggest of which is that they're easily adjustable to fit different sizes of cans.

My wife found the white ones that go on existing shelves at Costco last year, and at a very reasonable price. They did not last long around here, but she did manage to snag quite a few. She loves them. I do not believe that they have shown up again, but I think she did see them on ebay though.

If you are stocking a lot of canned goods, those look like just the thing to keep your stocks rotated.
