I stopped at a local Dunham's today. I talked to the manager. He said that ammo prices will be increasing this Thursday and going up again on September 1st. He also said that Dunham's will be limiting ammo purchases to 10 boxes (200 rds).

Interesting.. Of course I have played that game before. I get the limit, my wife gets the limit, we got back later and do it again the same day.
Do they issue rain checks or something? I would think selling ammo would be a good thing, regardless of how much any single person buys..

Stopped by Dunham's today. The manager was remarking the prices on ALL the ammo. He told me that ammo is going up 15% today, another 15% on September 6th and an additional 15% on October 4th.
Working it out on my calculator that's a 50.2% increase in the next 3 months!
$10.00 + 15% = $11.50
$11.50 + 15% = $13.25
$13.25 + 15% = $15.20

Yeah, bullets and primers are going up as well. My 7.62 bullets are now going for $23/100 or in bulk for $115/500. Eeeeek!! Last year I was buying them for $120/1000..
I saw that Outdoormarksman has the SA battlepacks at a paltry $70 each..

I was in a Dunhams on Monday and ammo prices were incredible...
Wolf x39 FMJ @ 6.99 a box... for 20 rounds
UMC .223, 200 round Bulk pack 55gr.... 109.99
American Eagle .45ACP 230gr FLJ 50 rd Box.... 24.95 (Insane)
The 9mm was sky high as well, not far behind the .45....
Sad thing was.. we were at the counter for 10 minutes and NO ONE came to help us... They must have known we were only there to ask questions and had no intention of buying ANYTHING....
Sure am glad I reload...
