A distributer on another forum posted that the Wolf .223 shipment for this summer NEVER arrived. He also said that the Fiochi 223 will be in August.
As for new Wolf 7.62x39 wholesale will be $177 per 1000 rounds. That's about $200 Retail.
As for 308, nothing significant yet.
He said the next real quanity of Imported ammunition wil nolt come till next year.
As for any ex-soviet bloc ammo, no confirmation yet.

I had a chat with one of the senior salespeople at J&G Sales a few days ago. Indeed, surplus ammo is most certainly drying up right now. He didn't see any significant quantities coming down the pipeline any time soon.
Seems to be different causes for all the problems. In reference to 8mm Mauser, he suggested that there's still billions of rounds stashed away in the former Yugoslavia, but that after selling mass quantities cheap and seeing the prices fall, they've decided to "sit on" what they've got left in the hopes of forcing prices to rise.
He says the Yugos got about $0.02/round for the 8mm stuff the last time around, and (after transportation costs and wholesale/retail markups) it sold retail here for about $0.08/round. He figures they won't release much more to us until they can get a much higher price for their stockpiled ammo.
Which means that all of us 8mm Mauser shooters can probably expect more surplus ammo to arrive in the future . . . but it won't be cheap any more.
Also, J&G does have a nice stock of Czech 7.62x54r ammo in stock. This lot, however, is different from the previous batch of Czech. Previously, they had the so-called "silvertip" Czech ammo: bullet silver marked, with a steel, brown lacquered case (I don't think there was anything special about the silvertip projectile - it was just a marking. Seems to be plain ball ammo). The newest lot of Czech looses the silvertip marking, but the steel cases are now copper washed instead of lacquered.
This is probably a good thing, as some shooters were complaining about the lacquered cases sticking in their Mosin-Nagants. Retail cost of this Czech 7.62x54r is $98 for 800 rounds - about $0.12/round.
In this day and age, a bargain! ;)
