If true and this happens it will be good news for M1 Carbine owners.

" Pighelmet and I were at the North Store in Port Clinton on Sat. They had four carbines on display with a "do not drool near these" sign on them. They were in pretty darn good shape. Later we snuck a .30 projo into the muzzle and it was nice and tight. They will start taking orders on the 3rd, and they will be selling Inlands first, then the other manufacturers. Buyers will be limited to one per manufacture. They are trying to get a metric assload of ammo from Italy and are working the red tape on it-these things are harder to do now that the UN is mucking small arms trade matters up.
I do think that they are too expensive for what they are. "
IMOP the CMP prices are Too High for mis-matched parts M1's with foreign stocks etc.
