I went to the gunshow today. Not really looking for anything, just entertainment for me to walk around and look. I always buy some ammo from the same guy that I've been buying from for years. I generally hang out and chew the fat with him as long as he's not too busy.
He saw me coming today and right off the bat he said "no .308 or .223". I was shocked to say the least. He has ALWAYS had various types of both.
We got to talking and he stated that at one time recently that he had a pallet of SA .308 coming in. I asked him if he meant another bunch since this last batch and he said yes. I told him that I thought that the UN was paying everyone to destroy all the MILSURP. He agreed but said that a shipment was inbound, that the UN had somehow got in touch with whomever was bringing it in and offered them a premium for the shipment. Which they accepted. He then said that the UN then dumped the entire load of ammo into over 700 feet of water.
I dont know if this is true or not. He hasnt steered me wrong yet. If true, that means that WE actually bought that through OUR tax dollars that support the UN! How wrong would that be?
