It’s a fascinating video (about 4 minutes long) of Russian snipers undergoing training. Actually, they’re not really “snipers” in the US Army sense (they don’t use any type of concealment) so they’re probably closer to what we Americans would call “Designated Marksmen.” Nonetheless, the training is interesting.
It’s in Russian, but otherwise it’s easy enough to follow. And be forewarned: the audio is VERY loud, so be ready to turn it down when it starts.
Get a load of the movable targets mounted on a railroad track. What a great way to keep the target’s distance changing on-the-fly!
