I thought that I would put a plug in here for this magazine. I have been getting it for about 6 months, but read the online editions for at least a year. To me it is Mother Earth News with a survivalist bend to it.

I bought all the hard cover anthologies two weeks ago. Really good stuff going back over the last 12 years or so. I highly recommend it.

I have seen it highly reccomended from several sources. I have learned some from its articles on the website too. I also learned a lot from the foxfire books.

Survivalblog (survivalblog.com) has a huge booklist, I have only a few of them so far, but all of them have proven useful.

I was buying it at the store and liked it so much that I subscribed to it. It's an excellent magazine.

to bad they don't still offer the .pdf files of the complete magazine online. They did that for a few issues, then went back to only having selected articles online. either way it is a great magazine.
