Hey ya'll. I've been into 37/40mm flare launchers for several years now and I beleive that they are not only extremely fun to reload and shoot, but they can be very useful in signaling/rescue.
they're relatively cheap to get into, less than $200 new and you can usually find good used launchers for around $140 if you look. Ammo is expensive to purchase (when you can find factory rounds) but VERY easy and fun to reload your own. I've reloaded alot of smoke rounds and signal flares, as well as many other types of rounds.
