Christmas-The birth of Christ or pagan holiday?

What do ya'll think? Is December 25th the true Birthday of Jesus Christ or is it a carryover from the ancient pagan festival of Walpurgis Nacht? :confused:

It is a carryover from several pagan religions that have festivities around that time. I am not sure how many Christians know this, but I for one don't really care. To my knowledge, we can guess the date, but do not really know.

And shepherds don't watch over their flocks by night in December...I've read it is probably more like April, the birth of Jesus, that is...It's not an issue to me, either. I'm just curious what other members think...:confused:
