I prefer the nitrogen purge method.

They talk about how the oxygen removers actually "sucked" down the bags, making them look like vacuum pack coffee packs. Because those bags now have a negative pressure, they are under constant attack of regular atmosphere trying to get in.

With purging, at least the contents are the same pressure as "normal".

Where did you get the mylars? I have been looking for some large enough to make up some "Super Pails (5-6gal, re-sealable food grade plastic buckets."

i have all the stuff for nitorgen packing , but if im only going to do a small amount , o2 absorbers are less trouble then renting a N2 tank ..

I have purchased some of my bags from walton feed but the last couple of batches I got from http://www.sorbentsystems.com/mylar.html

Allot of the items have a minium of 50-100 but they are cheaper in the long run. Quick shipping too.
