The new season is supposed to be out in late Feb "07.
I always enjoy watching Les Stroud, because he's not scared to show his mistakes-and he lugs his own camera gear around.

While he does show that you can survive with very little..he sure ain't comfortable doing it!
Imagine how much easier it would be if he had a small survival kit.
Too much Hollywood. I'd like to see something more real.

Yeah, as much as I try to maintain an immage of knowing everything there is to know about everything, what is "Survivalman"? Must be something that those lucky enough to have cable or satalite dishes watch.
I dont get that stuff up here in my mountain enclave My wife gives out after pumping the bycycle powered generator for more than an hour or so and I cant watch full length movies, much less use the welder for any length of time.

Survivorman started a year back, in Discovery Science TV. Those were 60 minute episodes in Utah, Canada, Georgia swamps, in the Atlantic ocean and several other places. Discovery TV started doing Survivorman 30 minute episodes, but have been showing the entire 60 minute episodes for the last 2-3 months. You should be able to see different episodes in either Discovery TV in different times.
I like the style of the program. It makes it easy to watch.
As for too much Hollywood, I disagree. It's pretty raw. He may not be comfortable, but he's alive.
