Wonderful writing. I find something valuable in every one. There's a little inspirational training manual in each of your stories, and every one is a page turner. Just the thing to help me maintain the proper mindset, and give me a little push in the right direction when I get stalled. I've also found stories like Just In Case are handy for getting family members to understand why preps are necessary.

Can I have your stories printed for my personal library? Being a guy who's been asking "What happens when the power goes off?" for 30+ years, I have no faith in electronic files. A nice paper "laptop" copy that could be read by lamp light seems very appropriate for your stories.

It is perfectly okay for you to print the stories for you own or family use as long as my copyright notice and name are intact. It's okay to let someone else read. Just no selling of them.

Copyright and Name intact, your short stories are a fine addition to any bunker.

I just posted an idea for emergency night sights in the firearms forum that I'd love to see your characters use in one of your stories. The idea came to me after reading several books where night sights were used. The trouble was that it always took extreme luck (gun shop/machinist available) and only a small number were available. With a little creativity, anybody can fit functional night sights to anything from a cross-bow to a cannon using glow-in-the-dark trunk release material.

Thanks again, Jerry. The wait between your stories is awful. I check everyday for a new one and after a while, I check twice a day. I have read everything on here and Frugal's by you. I think you should compile a book of short stories. If that ever happens I would like to buy the first copy.

Hi Jerry,

I started reading What If? last night and was quite upset with myself when I looked up at the clock and it was 3am. I had to turn it off and get some sleep. Luckily, today at work not much was going on and I was able to finish it.
